The Daily Cat
A Leprechaun following a rainbow across the Tri-State area turned his magic on some local felines. Seeing the fate of these homeless
cats our green friend bestowed Irish luck upon them in hopes that they will quickly find homes. Please click on our lads and lassies
to see more details and help them take advantage of the luck of the Irish!
Zane – There once was a black and white kitten
About whom this poem is written
He loves his ginger friend
But that’s not the
end
They can’t wait for the home they’ll be gettin’.
Looking for a Pot O' Gold
Skeffington of Killarney–
There once was a cute little cat
All alone at PetSmart she sat
As people walked by
She’d give them the
eye
In hopes they choose her over a rat.
Leprechaun Turns Local Cats Irish!
EXTRA
There once was a cat with no tail
She could jump like a bunny, no fail
The people gathered round
To see how she bound
We knew she would
be a quick sale.
Lost out in the rain and the snow
Poor Louie had no place to go.
He’s happy at OAR
But he really wants more
He’s just waiting for you,
don’t ‘cha know?
Sylvester’s a wonderful guy
Though right now he is quiet and shy.
He once had a home
But now he’s alone
Just waiting for you to come by.
An ginger lad named Liam O’Leary
Is asking the following query:
“What must I do
To go home with you
So we can be happy and purry?”
Buster’s a big brawny boy
Who can fill any household with joy.
He’ll rub and he’ll purr
‘til you’re covered with fur
Then he’ll lie down
and play with his toy.
Gwen’s as fresh as the sweet morning dew
She had kittens but now that’s all through.
They’ve all gone home,
So their mom’s all alone,
Hoping
to go live with you
Eliza lost part of her tail
And let out a terrible wail.
But the doctor, he fixed it,
And now she can twitch it
So happy’s the end of
her tale.
There’s this big tough cat named BJ,
Who is still at OAR to this day.
He’s not much to brood at,
He’s more of a dude cat,
Who’s looking
for a man-cave to stay.
If an ginger streak runs by in a flash
You can bet that it’s probably Crash.
He’s as quick as a wink –
You can tell he can think
–
He’ll win the race to your heart in a dash.
Colette was found up in a tree –
Not a great place for a kitty to be.
She’s now in a cage
And advancing in age
Waiting for a home so that
she can run free.
